I would like to acknowledge, as a proud Aboriginal woman, the lands on which I practice, and the ongoing struggles, resistance and strength of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. I pay my respect to the knowledge and wisdom that has been passed down to me and that I embed into my practice as an Aboriginal (Awabakal) and Maori counsellor and social worker.
